Eighth graders from Preparatory Academy reached new heights in physics! Through their study of Newton’s Laws of Motion, students have been learning about forces of gravity, air resistance, and velocity. They created parachutes and manipulated variables to see how different features affect speed and flight during the lab portion. In a very exciting culminating event, students were able to apply their knowledge during an immersive flight in iFly Mission Valley’s wind tunnel!
